Hey, I choose to go to Germany because I learn German and my family had a German exchange student, and I'm going with WEP Australia . I'm going to be about an hour west of Düsseldorf, I'm really close to the Netherlands and Belgium isn't very far away from me either. I'm very excited, 40 days til I leave

Why is Australia so awesome??

Well, it seems to me like the place you can't ever reach. This is so far away and it seems so unique and wonderful. I would looove to go there.
And life seems to be great there, I don't really know, this may just be a fake idea.



Oh I forgot ! Where do you live in Australia ?

I live in Ballarat its a small city in Victoria... Victoria is the southernmost state on the mainland.. Ballarat is renowned for its 4 seasons in a day... We have very strange weather here sometimes, like it snowed once in the middle of summer and our summer is normally very hot around 30 to 40 Celsius everyday... That is some random facts for you...
I suppose Australia is very unique but its also too hot and very dry.. I wish it rained more... There are a lot of things I don't really like about Australia but what I do like is the BEACHES we have awesome beaches, and the wildlife, we have some pretty cool animals but yeah I don't know...

that's what it's all about ^^ No, seriously I understand better, I'm sure you'll love Germany, you re gonna see rain But still... well I don't know, maybe we re never glad with what we have. x) Like in Belgium it's cold and humid so I enjoy the heat in Texas but everyone here hates it and would love Europe. They're used to heat and want rain and I'm used to rain and want heat !

Thats so true about never being glad with what we have... like the saying says the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence... but yeah... maybe you will get to see Australia one day and you can decide whether Australia is really all that awesome or not... I'm hoping to see Belgium and eat lots of chocolates

In my year in Italy I met some australians, there were really nice
There was a guy who lives in Victoria too, in Portcampbell, do you know it?

Oh yeah Port Campbell, I think I went there on a school camp once, its on the great ocean road, very pretty. It's about 3 hours from where I live.... But yeah cool... Lots of Australians are leaving for Italy from WEP this January like 16 people on a plane together or something.

I'm going to a town called Nettetal, I'm not really sure how big it is but its quite close to Dusseldorf and Cologne and also the Netherlands and Belgium isn't too far either.

I'm getting very excited, practically have my suitcase packed already

Yeah its pretty cool that I'm so close to so many countries like I think the Netherlands is less than a 10minute drive to me that's incredible
Hopefully I get to see Brussels, I really want to eat lots of Belgium chocolates <-- that's me after eating too many chocolates......
